Our stay at The Miner's Club was just what we expected. Conveniently located near the Frostwood Gondola which takes you right up to Canyons Village. Ski down in the afternoon or take Frostwood Gondola back down. A bit of a walk back to the condo, but nothing unmanageable wearing ski boots and carrying gear. This was our first time skiing Park City and we will definitely be back. The condo was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed apres ski on the mountain every afternoon and then cooked dinner in the condo every evening. I was worried about staying on the Canyons side of the mountain, but when we return we will choose this side again. It's quieter and easier to get right on the lifts first thing in the morning. I appreciate Brad answering all my questions and concerns prior to our arrival. I would highly recommend.
This was the first time our group of six has visited the Canyons side of Park City. We found this spot to be perfect. Easy access (200 ft walk or 100 ft walk and 50 yards of skiing) to the gondola to Canyons Base. The accommodations were as advertised. The staff at the Miners Club was very helpful. The owner was very responsive and helpful. As others have said, this is as advertised. When we return to Park City, we'll certainly want to be here again.
Our group of six stayed at this facility in early March, 2016. Unfortunately, for us, the weather was a bit too warm and Park City hadn't had a good snow storm in a few weeks, but still the skiing was great. (The snow came with a vengeance after we left!) The Miners Club has great access to the mountain with a gondola ride just outside the doors (either walk a hundred feet on pavement or walk from the ski locker room about 75 feet to the ski trail down to the gondola. We had one of the larger units with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. The living area was very comfortable as were the beds. We didn't take advantage of the pool and hot tub, but saw several people enjoying them. The staff that we encountered were very helpful. I think the best comment on this is that when we return to Park City, we will certainly try to rent this from Brad again.
Miners Club is the best of both worlds; plenty of room and privacy of a condo but the features and services of a full service hotel. The location is perfect, short walk to the gondola to take you to the Canyons base area and then either return by gondola or ski back at the end of the day. The units are in excellent shape and provided plenty of room for our group. Other features such as large hot tub, heated swimming pool, indoor garage parking, indoor ski lockers make this an excellent choice. The staff is also very helpful and it was nice to have daily housekeeping service.
My family and I felt like royalty when we stayed in this beautiful bi-level condo during the festivities for a Park City wedding. We cooked almost every day and were really impressed by the range of pots, pans and implements we found in the kitchen. Between the pool, hot tub and rec room, there is a lot to explore on this property. Great experience! Highly recommended.
This is our 4th stay at the Miner's Club. We have stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bedroom with loft and a 4 bedroom. Miner's Club is perfect for families, close to lift, pool, hot tub, movies, game room, activities for adults & kids, and the condos are very nice. Even though there is construction going on which limits the walking access to the Waldorf Gondola, the wonderful staff still made it very easy to accommodate our different ski, ski school and child care schedules by offering complimentary shuttle service. The van drivers were there always within a couple of minutes and were very friendly and helpful. The condos are all spacious and and well appointed. Having a fireplace in the master bedroom is an appreciated amenity. The kitchen had everything we needed. The staff goes above and beyond. So nice to see the same faces every year! Having the ski and snowboard rental right at the Miner's Club is a huge time saver and makes renting and returning easy and smooth. Even though we had a car we often used the free bus system conveniently located a few minutes walk from Miner's Club. Park City has a great public transportation system. Brad is exceptional to work with and makes the rental process clear and easy. I think once the construction is complete it will all work out fine with landscaping and accessibility. We would absolutely return.
We had a great time at the Miner's Club. The room was nice as were the people that worked there. The daily maid service worked very well. Without the construction this could have been a true "ski in/ ski out". The fireplace in the master was very nice. We ate in 5 of the 6 nights and the kitchen worked well. The only issue we had with the unit was that the TVs could be updated. Not a big deal. All in all, a great family vacation!
Oh my gosh Brad we have so many wonderful family memories. We Loved the 3 bedroom unit with the Beautiful views. We loved everything about Utah. We had a Spring Break of our lifetime. We would like to go back to an area in Utah or maybe Steamboat Springs next year. We appreciate all your help & your reputation for being a well respected person & honest business man. Sincerely, Kathy & James McNally P.S. Have a wonderful Spring & Summer.?
We had an e excellent time at the Miners Club! It's a perfect location, close to the gondola. The staff was awesome. Brad was also wonderful to work with. He provided us with great information prior to arrival and was always very responsive. We will plan to stay again sometime in the future.
This was our 4th visit to park city/ canyons, and really enjoyed our stay. The condo was great- spacious, well designed, coneveniently located. One can easily get to the base via walk or short drive to the frostwood, or they will drive you directly to sundial. The daily cleaning was great [ most other condos we have stayed at dont offer this unless you pay extra]. The staff were readily available and helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice, and uncrowded. My kids also liked the theatre and playroom. I personally like the canyons mountain more than the other 2 Park city mtns, esp if you know where to find the powder stashes. Brad was very easy and helpful to deal with. Already considering returning next year.
We definitely enjoyed our stayed at Miners Club. We were very happy with the location as well as the space & size of the unit we rented from you...so glad we had the larger unit with the loft!!! We did stop at one of the ski shops that you mentioned in Salt Lake City and purchased some discounted lift tickets for the Canyons, Park City, & Snowbird. My husband & I skied Alta in addition to The Canyons, and our boys skied Park City, Brighton, and Snowbird, in addition to The Canyons. We also appreciated the "dinner suggestions" list you provided. We dined at Squatters, The Farm, and 350 Main (which was our favorite). We tried to go to Prime, but didn't make reservations early in advance for the evening we wanted to go, so we went to Butchers Chop House instead. We also dined at Giottos in Kimball Junction...the food was quite good, but the service was absolutely horrendous!!! We also ordered sushi one evening from Shabu and ate in our condo...it was excellent!!! (Listen to me...I'm all about the food!!!). We had a wonderful vacation back in Park City after 15 years...so much fun being together there again. It was spring skiing for sure, but we all got plenty of runs in and enjoyed the "bluebird sky" days. So much has changed there in the last 15 years...and all for the good. We will be back sooner than later...we all loved Utah even more this trip!!
Overall we were very happy with our weeklong stay at the Miner's Club: We were a large party of 7 (two adults, three teenagers, and a 9- and 10-year-old). The condo was spacious and comfortable, and as other commenters have noted, very well located at The Canyons. Last year we had a VERY good deal at the new Escala Lodge, and while that condo was much larger and super luxurious--with much higher levels of service--it was less conveniently located than the Miner's Club, despite being truly "ski in/ski out." The Frostwood gondola is right beside the MC, and deposits you in the center of the base village, near the new bubble lift and the main gondola. Across the road from MC is the Waldorf-Astoria, with a gorgeous bar and restaurant (Spruce) and an amazing spa. So you can "piggyback" on the resources of the Waldorf, including its shuttles, if you are looking for nicer amenities and service. The MC's bar and restaurant was very so-so--average food, small liquor selection, and comically bad service, which our kids are still laughing about. Pool/hot tub were fine. Good games room and some fun evening programs for kids. The condo itself was in good but not brand new shape. Maids emptied garbage and made beds but little else. Brochure offered "ski valet" service but we never saw it. Hauled our own suitcases/bags/equipment back and forth to our condo. Front desk people generally stayed behind front desk but were helpful if asked something. The real issue for us happened on our arrival: Although I had exchanged emails w Brad about our party size and requested certain room configurations, he never confirmed these details with the MC. So we arrived late at night (11 p.m.) and were told not only did they NOT have the type of condo we had been promised/paid for--with sleeping loft--but we had been downgraded to a smaller unit. For a few awful tired minutes it seemed we were not even going to have enough beds for everyone--and one teenager would have to sleep on the sofa in the living room. A more helpful desk guy found a "last" available loft unit--still not the right set-up--the 2 younger kids still had to share a pull-out bed--but better than the alternative. This all could have been avoided if Brad had reserved the correct type of condo at the time we booked, several months in advance. Obviously this is not something you want to deal with when you arrive, nor should you have to deal with it. So make sure this gets checked/confirmed upon reserving.
Glad you enjoyed the Miners Club. As for bedding do kindly ask that such requests be communicated as early as possible, will let you know right away if such can or can not be accommodated, my apology if communication lines somehow got crossed.
We stayed at the Miner's Club from Jan 23-30, 2010 and really enjoyed it. The Frostwood Gondola makes it about as close to ski in/out as you can get -- a very short walk out the back door of the ski locker room, and it drops you right at the 'Flight of the Canyons' gondola. Condo was in near-new condition and very clean and comfy. Miners Club service was especially good and friendly. No upcharge to buy from the long wine/liquor list (sold at cost), and no charge for reserving the large theater room. 3BR/3BA worked perfectly for two families of 4 because the kids took over the entire upstairs/loft area.
Glad you enjoyed your stay, please come again!
Hi Brad, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Miners Club! It was so convenient to the new Frostwood Gondola, we were up at the base of the mountain in a matter of minutes after we stepped out the door of the condo. The accommodations were really spacious and there was plenty of room for our 6 adults and two kids in the three bedroom plus loft. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and it was just a walk across the street when we wanted massages at the Golden Door Spa at the Dakota. And best of all was the courtesy and efficiency of the staff, who supplied anything we requested in a few minutes from a sheet to another pasta pot. It was also nice that they made the beds, replaced the towels, and got rid of the trash every day. One morning, when we left the breakfast dishes in the sink, they even put them in the dishwasher for us and ran it. Thank you so much for making the Miners Club available to us. We will certainly want to stay there again if we plan another trip to Park City! Regards, Sandy and Ken Morris
Glad you enjoyed your stay, please come again!
Every thing about our stay here was excellent. From the courteous front desk staff to the much needed post-day on the slopes hot tub. Location is already great but will be prime once Frostwood gondola is operational. Would stay again and recommend without hesitation.
Glad you enjoyed your stay, gondola fully operational these days, just outside the door!
We had a great time at the Miner's Club and the Canyons. Fantastic condo. The lower altitude in Utah and the lack of lift lines at the Canyons made the skiing more enjoyable. I don't know if we'll go back to the same conference or not but I'll definetly keep the Miner's Club in mind.
Glad you enjoyed your stay, please come again!
